As Health Yetu co-founder and member of the Supervisory Board, Dr. Adrienne Rouleau is an invaluable asset to Health Yetu. She works as a geriatric specialist at Kennemerland Hospital in Haarlem, the Netherlands.
After Adrienne completed her medical internships in Kenya during her medical studies, she decided to give back the knowledge and expertise she had gained to vulnerable communities on the African continent. Since 2018, she has been working as a volunteer and is involved in several projects concerning medical care for vulnerable people in Eastern Africa. She founded this organization with the will to give back and share her knowledge of medical care and procedures.

As Health Yetu co-founder and member of the Supervisory Board, Doeke Hekstra is ever committed to bringing Health Yetu to the next level. He was born in Wonji, Ethiopia. He lived most of his childhood in Sudan and Kenya. In the late 1990s, he established an independent real estate company in Amsterdam. An affinity with East Africa and involvement in the human-wildlife conflict led to the establishment of a social corporate responsibility enterprise focused on healthcare for vulnerable nomadic communities in Northern Kenya.
Leadership involves communicating plans, ideas, and vision so that everyone understands them, fostering a consensus on a common future vision, and ultimately producing measurable and accountable results. Like all businesses, success is a numbers game.
